The Wellness Bus Concept
Poor health correlates with distance from a metropolitan area.
A novel solution to entrenched rural health inequity, the Wellness Bus is a mobile clinic offering allied health and wellbeing services. It brings person-centred care to those recovering from illness or crisis, fostering self-management and continuity of care.
The Wellness Bus will initially provide a mobile acupuncture or acupressure clinic, (with other modalities to come) with evidence-based relief of clinical related side effects, creating a sense of calm and overall wellbeing.
